About Mountville, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Mountville is a borough with a population of just over 2,800 residents. In terms of geographic size, Mountville is also small, as it only consists of 0.9 square miles of total area. Historically, Mountville is known for being the location of the original Charles Chips factory. The community is located about four miles east of Columbia on the Susquehanna Turnpike, and it was originally called Mount Pleasant due to its pleasant views of the surrounding countryside from every direction.

Despite its small size, Mountville is home to a variety of unique and interesting attractions. This community is a great place for families with children to visit, as youngsters often enjoy trips to Boulders Miniature Golf and Scoops Ice Cream. The area Field of Screams is popular during Halloween, and it features a hayride and haunted corn maze. This community boats one of the highest public park space ratios per capita, and popular outdoor spaces include Froelich Park and Lackard Park, among others. In addition to the park system, other recreational opportunities are also available for Mountville residents, including the Susquehanna Dance Center and the Mountville Swimming Pool.

The weather of Mountville is typical of a humid continental climate zone, and residents experience four different seasons throughout the course of the year. Summers are very warm and offer high humidity levels. July is the hottest month with average high temperatures in the mid-70s, but heat waves are also common. In these circumstances, having a reliable air conditioner becomes important in order to make it through the hot and dangerous weather. On the other hand, winters are snowy and cold, so homeowners are smart to invest in a high-quality heating system. Regular maintenance is also important to ensure that the system is running efficiently by the time the harsh weather arrives.
